Exports of agro-forestry-fishery hit 11.4 bln USD
Export turnover of Vietnam’s agro-forestry-fishery products is estimated to reach 2.37 billion USD in May and total 11.4 billion USD in the first five months of 2015, down 7.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
Trade sees 1.87 billion USD deficit in first half of May
Vietnam exported 6.32 billion USD worth of commodities in the first half of May, a decrease of 9.5 percent compared over the previous fortnight, the General Department of Customs reported.

Cephalopod exports to the EU decrease
Data from Vietnam Customs revealed that exports cephalopod from 1st January 2015 to 15th April 2015 worth US$ 12.19 million, down 31.4% year on year. EU with 11.7% of Vietnam’s total cephalopod exports is now the fourth-largest importing destination, after South Korea, Japan and ASEAN.
Vietnam, Eurasia Economic Union sign free trade agreement
The free trade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasia Economic Union (EAEU) was signed in Burabai, Kazakhstan on May 29 after more than two years of negotiation, opening up a new chapter in the partnership between Vietnam and the union as well as each EAEU member in particular.
